Roxanna Barry is a professional freelance documentary photographer, self-shooting director, and editor based in the UK, with 6 years experience in location shooting, documentaries, video editing, and social media content creation. Their work typically focuses on social or environmental justice, the power of community, or our drive for creativity, with diversity and personality at its heart. Roxanna’s narrative-led storytelling takes audiences on an intimate journey, connecting viewers with the protagonists, their communities, and their story. 

Roxanna has directed, shot, and edited for multiple award-winning documentaries. Their photographs have been featured across adventure sport magazines and guidebooks, both online and in print. In 2025 they were awarded the DYCP grant from Arts Council England.
